MOTIVATIONAL SESSION

 

💪💕The lecture that madam Chathurangi Abeshika gave that day was very important. I accepted what she said. She taught me how to learn Inglish through her life story. She is very kind and beautiful. It is good motivational session. She is good teacher. She said that learning English changed her life. Cleary a very big idea. She told me to speak up without fear. She said to learn English the mobile phone. She told me to work hard. After listening to that lecture. I wanted to learn English. It is good to watch English videos as a habit. That is a good motivational session, and I like it. I learned a lot. Thak you madam 🙏💪💫

Sigiriya is a very famous place in Sri Lanaka. Known as 'LION ROCK'. It is a large, tall rock that rises about 200 meters above the ground. Long ago, a king named Kashyapa built a place on top of this rock. The name 'SIGIRIYA' comes from the big lion statue that was once at the entrance of the place. Even though the statue is gone now, you can still see the lion's paws, which are very big and carved into the rock. A VISIT TO A FAIR

It was the famous Sunday fair at Gonagala junction .My mother always makes it a point to visit this fair in order to buy the village products. Last Sunday I too accompanied her to see this exciting market. There were such a lot of vendors both men and women on either side of the road leading to this fair, seated with the fresh vegetables and fruits brought from their own villages. There were rare kinds of fruits and leaves which had medicinal value. The place was crowded with people and there was not enough space to move. Vendors were shouting and inviting customers to their stalls. There were fish,meat,vegetables ,fruits, pots and ornaments, ice cream etc.....The place was a hive of activity. It created the true picture of a typical village market.

PROTECT OUR FORESTS

  A forest is a piece of nature that one could not buy. It s a blessing to a country when there are lands on this earth in certain countries without a single tree. Forest are wonderful with huge green trees, plants, animals, birds and insects. The streams that run across a forest add freshness and a soothing atmosphere to the environment. Chirping of the birds and the rustling of leaves in the soft wind make it a wonderful place for relaxation.  Forest serves the humans to live a healthy life. The valuable trees in the forest not only provide shelter to animals but they also provide valuable medicines. Hence, we can see how much the forests contribute towards the existence of humans and animals. Global warming is also a major threat to forests. Since of late many wildfires have been reported throughout the world. We should make the people aware of the importance of protecting there afforestation forest.
